What are we doing? It seems to be that us as a whole we are losing our grip on life.
The Government has fallen short in their job performance and the media tends to make things even worse, by nit-picking .
Let me start by saying I do not Hate any one race of people. But I do hate what we have become. We all have the right to think how we want as long as we do not act or take away others rights. What happened in Charlottesville, VA was very tragic and was an act from a coward and was terroristic. My thoughts and Prayers go out to the Heather Heyer family.
We can not blame everyone in that group for the actions of one, Lets look at all the facts.
How many drivers were in the car that destroyed lives ? Answer is ONE !!!!
Now That’s out and said. Lets face the facts. It always takes two to fight no matter what color we are, this is a hard cold fact. War it takes two, so without dragging this on and on as media outlets have lets put the blame where the blame is due and that would be all of us……What if I were there and I was standing on both sides of both groups then I would be at fault according to Media and others cause I was there. So that does not mean I agree with what that sick excuse for a human did, to take others lives and rights from them.
What I am saying is very basic. Lets do the right thing by others always, let others have their beliefs and their freedoms as long as there is not acts that hurt others. This is what land of the free means!!! You and I have the right to think and like or not like whomever we want, but in the same breath no matter how much we dislike something or someone do it with respect……and protect everyone’s rights as they are your own.
Lets not forget who we are and how we are so much alike.. And do not forget her.
Wow, Comcast is not that comtastic to me and my family. You may be asking why? The fact is we live about .5 of a mile away from the last drop. Two years ago, we were old when we moved in we would be getting internet service in about three months to our location. So, we call about a year into living here and was told it would be $33,000 to get service (can you say what, repeat please) So we let it be.
Them we started getting flyers saying we can sign up. So, we went to sign up another tech came out and the sales rep had me sign all the documents and then ….
We are told now it will be $64,000 dollars’ wow in a year it went double man I wish I could do that with my money. So, the Rep I was sealing with said that don’t sound right and she would keep working on the issues. Guess what never heard from her after that. I mean we are good folks and were willing to sign up 5 years or more if needed. We pay our bills and SAT internet is no good for working out of the home SO I am asking you and everyone to put some kind of post about this company trying to rob hard working people when all they asking for is good service and stop misleading people (Comcast make this right please welling to dig my own line for you to hook this up you have this location to be service only by you)
Feel like a child in a candy store ? Well that’s me, when it comes to new tech items (I want that and that ) I am sure my wife thinks that every time I tell her about the latest up and coming technology that is on the way in .
There’s one thing I do know and will give advice on. Do not waste your time money or energy on new items that just hit the market , you may be asking yourself why and I am also a impulse buyer, also gotta have the most advanced tech out there before everyone gets it before me. The main reason i say this kinks are in the hardware and software still , you much better waiting a 6 month wait to a year when a new gadget hits the floor for consumers .
Also people buy to resell on Ebay and Amazon right off the bat and this will drive the market cost up. Lets take VR for and spin , if you look on Ebay and HTC Vive
You will see the new price is above what HTC is selling it for. But click used , and you see a lot of used ones already for sell, same thing with Oculus Rift. The main reason for this, it is still a 1st gen not all issues are worked out, so just wait for the next release and we all will be much more satisfied .
The same goes for the PlayStation VR already sold out most to Ebay and Amazon Re sellers and the cost will be a much higher price so save some of that cash and wait it out. It will not kill you but it may feel like it . I know we all have tech withdraws.
The Ever Changing Work Place
A new era of management
A lot has changed since I had my 1st job, and I am sure you notice. In today’s job force there are many things you must take into account before doing management, with all due respect old styles are dead and will not work for any company trying to grow.
Top of my list is your Employees, they are your first line of success. A lot of CEO’s and upper management still have no clue about this. So let me lay it out there. I have been on both sides of this fence, your employees are number one and you need to treat them as such. They are the first face customers see and they are you company’s voice.
If you treat your employee’s badly, then the outcome might be you company will do badly and your employees performance may be lacking. If you have good employee’s you will thrive in time, you must compensate them fairly and treat them with respect if you want them to respect you.
Too many companies underpay their workers and have the mentality that they can replace them as fast as they go out the door. Yes, that may be the case, but you may end up getting someone that’s is not up to par, high turnover is not a sign you want your company to have. And once you get into that pattern it is an endless flow.
Also management styles are not the same as twenty years ago. There is way more diversity in the workforce today, and your management needs to be just as diverse as the employee’s. Meaning all employees cannot be managed in the same manner. A lot of the time management may be your company’s worst enemy. One style of management will not work today. Your management team might have to adjust their style of management for each and every employee.
The main reason behind this is due to the much diversity in the workplace. Everyone is not the same so you cannot expect them to perform like the next. Some may need a little more coaching then others, some may need to be recognized more, some may need things explained for them, while others just go for it and seem to be able to do everything without being told, but as I said before, we are all not the same and therefore our management styles cannot be the same.
Do not mistake this information as no matter how bad an employee is I will keep them, I am not saying that, I am saying Your employees are your companies most valued asset next to your customer’s. Just keep in mind content employees are good for your company and customers, it pays off in the long haul.
